Players to watch

Cooper Schilling, 5-foot-11, 170-pound, QB, So.

Schilling came on the scene fast being thrusted into the starting QB role as a freshman midway through last season. Schilling was able to step up and answer the call helping Perryton to the area round of the playoffs throwing for 1,507 yards with 17 touchdown passes.

Carlos Estrada, 5-foot-10, 150-pound, WR-DB, So.

Better known as Gordo, Estrada has unbelievable speed and can make big plays happen at a moment’s notice. As a freshman last year, the lightning quick Estrada snagged 26 catches for 521 yards with five touchdowns.

Avaun Garcia, 6-foot-3, 215-pound, OL-DL, Sr.

Garcia brings much needed stability to the offensive and defensive lines. Not only is he a huge protector of Schilling and opens run lanes, Garcia will be looked upon as a run stopper on defense.
