Players to watch
Oliver Parsons, 5-foot-11, 175-pounds, WR, Jr.
Parsons was a sophomore sensation showing he had some serious wheels and was a true outside weapon or head coach Chad Dunnam by snagging 17 catches for 486 yards and six touchdowns.
Jett Lopez, 6-foot, 200-pounds, QB, Jr.
Lopez is the next man up for the Sandies at QB after Will Flaming did a superb job before graduating last season. Lopez has size, speed and can make plays with his arm. In the opportunities he was given as a sophomore, Lopez threw for 367 yards with five TDs.
Bryson Brown, 5-foot-11, 170-pounds, WR-DB, Sr.
Brown is expected to have a breakout season and be a huge compliment to Parsons on the opposite side. Coach Chad Dunnam loves Brown’s leadership and speed capabilities to get loose from defenders. As a junior, Brown stacked up 165 yards receiving with a pair of touchdowns.
